Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the Chartered body and largest membership organisation for health and safety professionals. IOSH have accredited Ibec's CPD Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, granting Technical membership to graduates and the CPD Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, granting Associate membership to graduates.
European Mentoring and Coaching Council
The European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) is one of the world's largest professional bodies in the Coaching Industry and maintains tight control on the ethical and professional development of coaches across the world.
The CPD Diploma in Coaching, delivered by Ibec, and awarded by TU Dublin, can be further accredited at Practitioner Level by the EMCC.
Accreditation by any professional body does more than add a cache to a course, and to the learning those who participate, receive. Accreditation by a professional body recognises the ethical and professional standards expected of the course and the level of learning and practice acceptable.
Participants who complete these courses therefore not only have an academic qualification but a professional accreditation, enabling them to practice their coaching against a high, globally recognised standard.
Mediators Institute of Ireland
Mediators' Institute of Ireland (MII) is the professional association for mediators in Ireland, who are committed to promoting mediation as the process of choice for resolving conflicts in Ireland. All training programmes approved by the MII are assessed against specific criteria based on the competencies required for the various levels of membership. Ibec's CPD Diploma and Certificate in Mediation are accredited by MII at Certified Membership level.
